ORGAN - EMINENT GRAND THEATRE 2500 in Truro, Nova Scotia

The EMINENT Grand Theatre xxxx. Here's what I found out about it .... Mfr'd in Europe in the mid-xxxxs, only about 450 of these were ever made. At the time, they sold for the better part of $20,000 !!! Yup, nearly $20K !!!
As far as I can ascertain, the xxxx was the TOP of the Eminent line ... and it is VERY heavy (bring 3 or 4 strong men and a serious truck). When I bought it a few years ago, the "rhythm box" didn't work, but everything else was A-OK. Great sounds - not like a B3, but wonderful. Some guy even put out an entire album using nothing BUT the xxxx's sounds. Unfortunately, the only sound it makes now is a hissing sound ... An Eminent expert in Ontario speculates that it is the power supply - and parts are still available for this great instrument.
