Heavy Duty Licensed Technician in Truro, Nova Scotia

Our Client is the largest dealers of heavy duty trucks to the transportation industry. They are a total solution dealership offering new and used trucks, a service department fully equipped for servicing and warranty repair.
Due to increased Customer volumes, they are looking to bring a Heavy Duty Licensed Technician in their Truro Branch, someone that would be a vital part of their winning Service Team.
The person who will be the most effective in this position is someone who:
- Will take responsibility for results achieved,
- Wants a fast paced environment with a lot of variety
- Expects and wants to produce tangible results
- Wants to improve on methods of doing things
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be to diagnose and repair faults on equipment (service and warranty)
- All other duties as assigned by Service Manager
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Heavy Duty Technician - Red Seal
- Previous industry experience strongly recommended
- Experience in automotive or industrial (OEM) would be considered
- Have a high degree of product knowledge or willing to obtain the knowledge
Compensation and Benefits Details:
Our Client's compensation includes base salary, paid vacation, medical benefits and pension plan.
