Dehumidifier for sale in Truro, Nova Scotia

If you're handy, this might be a GREAT deal for you...

Bought this Whirlpool VKxxxx Dehumidifier (sells for around $ 250.00, I'm told) a couple of months back, from a nice lady here on Kijiji for $ 100.00 - when I looked at it, it seemed to work fine...all the controls worked, all the appropriate lights flashed, and the fan worked on all speeds. Once I got it home, however, it absolutely REFUSED to collect so much as a single drop of water, no matter how much I coaxed, and pleaded with it. I have since purchased a brand new one, on sale, and have no further need for my little friend here.

A friend who is knowledgeable suggested that it might need to be "re-gassed", which is clearly beyond my technical grasp, and he lives too far away to help...

Soooooooo - if you're handy with such gadgetry, or know someone that is, please come get this bad boy out of my basement, for $ 25.00!
